About Susan Johnson

As Director of Communications — for both the Women Presidents’ Organization and the Women Presidents’ Educational Organization — Susan Johnson was a fierce guardian for both brands. She powered consistent messaging, from building leadership authority through strategic publicity to maintaining a steady drumbeat of digital communications.
An accomplished marketing communications professional, she is author of two books — 50 Fastest Growing Women Owned/Led Companies™ Guide to Growth, Sponsored by American Express, and The Power of 20: Women Presidents’ Organization Entrepreneurial Excellence The First 20 Years.
As a senior executive at international public relations agencies, she led award-winning campaigns and was a key player spearheading new business initiatives.
Having received her BA in psychology from the University of Denver, she completed post graduate courses in social media at the Columbia University School of Journalism.
